The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is one of the outer London boroughs in the South West.

There are a number of carfree and low car developments in Kingston. One of the largest comprises of a four storey 72 room hotel and a mixed development of ground floor retail space and 20 flats (21/23 London Road).

There are also a significant number of smaller developments that are either carfree or car-capped.
